All our lamb comes from local Dorset flocks. As with our beef, we use local abattoirs, mature the meat properly at a constant temperature, cut it to our customers' requirements and deliver it, direct, within Dorset.
In Spring we start with Dorset Horn lambs - the hardy local breed noted for the excellence of their meat. Customers have remarked on the way this local lamb tastes - from local pub customers who have said they haven't tasted lamb like it for 20 years, to school children asking for third and fourth helpings! We also make LAMB burgers using our own fresh minced lamb, salt and pepper, flavoured with fresh garlic cloves.
